Welcome to our new website for SUPER CRO Incorporated.

SUPER CRO Incorporated is a charity registered with The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). SUPER CRO stared in 2006 as a group of mental health consumers at St Vincents Hospital who came together on a Wednesday afternoon as the SUPER Group. SUPER is an acronym for Service Users, Participating, Educating and Researching. 

In 2016 Gary Parker from Kansac CAC led a two-day workshop to develop a strategic plan. Since then a small group has been meeting monthly to develop SUPER CRO Incorporated. Initially, the Consumer Run Organistion (CRO) was going to be called Project Independence. Unfortunately, that name was taken and the members decided on SUPER CRO.

SUPER CRO has been granted Deductible Gift Recipient status, our ABN No is  80680294139 

Our mission with SUPER CRO Incorporated is to create safe places where people who have experienced mental health diagnoses can come together to support each other in furthering their recovery and join their voices to support improving mental health services. It is a place to receive support, but more importantly, a place to give back, to be of service and contribute to my community.

This website has a range of projects and products that members of SUPER CRO have created to support SUPER CRO to become an independent consumer-led and run entity to  achieve its mission.
